Privacy Policy

Last updated: 30 July 2026

Short version: Live2play has no account, no server and no analytics. We โ€” the developer โ€” receive no data from you at all. Everything the app records is processed on your iPhone and saved to your own Photos library.

What we collect

Nothing. Live2play has no backend, no sign-up, no user profiles and no telemetry. It ships with no analytics, advertising or crash-reporting SDK, so there is no channel by which your usage could reach us.

What the app uses on your device

Live streaming (only when you start it)

If you enter a stream URL and tap Go Live, the app sends your camera video and the selected audio to that server โ€” for example YouTube Live, or an RTMP server you run. Your video then falls under that service's own privacy policy, not ours. This never happens automatically: no stream starts unless you enter a destination and start it yourself. Your stream key is stored locally in the iOS Keychain on your device and is sent only to the server you entered.

What we do not do

Your data and deletion

Your recordings, settings and presets live on your iPhone. Delete a clip in Photos to remove it; delete the app to remove its settings and any clips still held inside it. Because we store nothing on our side, there is no server-side deletion request to make โ€” but you're welcome to write to us with any question.

Children

The app is rated 4+ and does not knowingly collect personal data from anyone, children included.

Changes

If this policy changes we will update this page and the date at the top. Material changes will also be reflected in the App Store privacy details for the app.
